Welcome in 2020

28 January 2020

Happy New Year 2020 – which, with its numerous national and international competitions, increases the anticipation for exciting sporting moments. The FIG World Cup in Melbourne (AUS) starts off the competition year for all gymnasts as well as in the SPIETH’s events calendar.

The big highlight will be the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer. SPIETH will be supporting the competitions in Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics by providing equipment, as well as Service Technicians.

Artistic Gymnastics
Special competitions in the area of International Artistic Gymnastics are the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships in Tauranga (NZL), as well as the European Championships for men in Baku (AZE). Junior and Senior athletes from selected countries will be present at the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Competitions, participating during three thrilling days in the disciplines of Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline, and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Both the Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastic Competitions will take place on SPIETH apparatuses.

The introduction to the competitions in Germany, exhibiting SPIETH Equipment, will be made by EnBW DTB-Cup in March. The ‘’Home World-Cup’’ for SPIETH will, for the 36th time, take place in Stuttgart.

Further important highlights in Germany are the German Championships and the Gymnastics Festival in Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony). The German Championships Finals will be performed on SPIETH Equipment and it will be broadcasted in the Rhein-Ruhr area in Oberhausen. During the ‘’Finals Weekend’’ the German Championships Titel will be awarded in 15 sport arts.

During the Gymnastics Experience Festival (ETF) of the Niedersachsen Gymnastics Association in Oldenburg, the competitions will be performed on SPEITH apparatuses as well as on the Aerobic Floor Baku.

Furthermore, the SPIETH apparatuses will be present in five out of seven World Cups tournaments and in three out of six World Challenge Cups. Included are the World Cups in Melbourne (AUS), Baku (AZE), Doha (QAT), Stuttgart (GER) und Tokyo (JPN), as well as the World Challenge Cups in Osijek (CRO), Koper (SLO) and Szombathely (HUN).

Apart from the numerous international championships, there are many national competitions equipped by SPIETH as partner of the German Gymnastics Association (DTB) and the German Gymnastics League (DTL). For example the DTL-Finals and many more.

Rhythmic Gymnastics
The Rhythmic Gymnasts will compete during the European Championships in Kiev (UKR) as well as on five out of eight World and World Challenge Cups on a SPEITH RG-Floor ‘’Beijing’’. The locations are Sofia (BUL), Tashkent (UZB), Baku (AZE), Minsk (BLR) and Moskau (RUS).

Since this year, for Rhythmic Gymnastics, there is a novelty in Germany:
Two Leagues will be broadcasted during the German Gymnastics Leagues. Altogether there are 14 Teams competing. The DTL RG-Competitions will be assisted from SPIETH and equipped with a RG-Floor.

Also in the area of Aerobics SPIETH will be present in 2020. The World Championships in Baku (AZE) will be performed on the, coincidentally named the same, Aerobic Floor ‘’Baku’’.

We are very excited, to meet you in one or the other event!

We wish all athletes an accident free and successful championship year.
